Activity Idea for Kids : Creating a Drawing from Shapes

This is something that our 9.5yo Anya, in particular, enjoys doing.

I’d draw different shapes, at random, on a piece of paper.

And she’ll then create a drawing, any drawing, based on the shapes.

Like for example, see the shapes in the picture above?

This is the drawing she came up with a few minutes later =)

One nice idea that can keep your kids (and adults?) engaged, I reckon!

Oh … plus, it challenges their thinking, imagination and creativity too, yes? =)
