Saw a pile of old photos at my parents’ place AND found this!
Me and my Mom, sometime in the late seventies!
I can still vaguely remember how it was when we all went ‘fishing’. Somewhere.
My sisters had a go at it with my Dad and being the youngest at the time, perhaps I simply found the whole ‘get-a-fish-on-a-stick’ activity too boring.
Or, perhaps it was nap time and I obviously wasn’t too happy about it.
Anyway, in that photo, my mom was around my age and I was around Vai’s age right now, I think.

As I held the photo in my hands I thought, hey I think Anya and Vai sort of look like me here.

Hi Liz! Thanks for the compliments on my mom 🙂 Again, if you hadn’t mentioned it, I wouldn’t have thought about it that way. Somehow in my mind, I ‘assumed’ in those days EVERYONE looked like that…
But anyway fyi, she didn’t join in the fishing hehe … More like the spectator of the family’s activities at the time 🙂
Yes.. ANYA look a lot like you. But your mum.. she looks so elegant and gentle… and professional! She looked like she just walked out from the saloon not from fishing…

it’s amazing how genes work. how it can create a similar looking person but somehow you still can spot the differences in 2 ppl. maybe i should dig out my old photos if i go home and compare, but i doubt JL will look anything like me when i was her age.

Leony, U’d better take a similar kind of picture with Anya lying down on your lap & ask her not to smile at all..then we can see whether she looks exactly like U or not 🙂
I think Anya & Vai do look like you. Anyway, the kids are clones of us too, they get the most distinctive feature from us;)
