Realities that Happen BEHIND Beautiful Photos Shared Online

3 April 2018No Comment

Too little can be known about a person through social media.

Too many UNTOLD stories behind one’s life.

Our 24 hours a day cannot possibly (and should not all) be shared with ‘everyone’.

Behind all smiley photos, successful events, fun travels, warm family gatherings, there are also moments of anger, impatience, exhaustion, sadness, failure.

They colour everyone’s day to day.

And, in the end, it comes down to our personal choice of ‘what’ we choose to share with others.

So, the question to self is:
What content do we choose to share online?

Behind all smiley photos, successful events, fun travels, warm family gatherings, there are also moments of anger, impatience, exhaustion, sadness, failurePersonally, I hope to make a positive impact through my existence online and offline.

To share life lessons learned, too, not because I’m great, but because I still have so much to learn and change.

About the photo:
Now this is a candid shot of an exhausted me with the kids on a bus ride after a day out with the family.

I seldom post photos like this – not ‘instagrammable’ they say, haha … but I thought I’d share it today anyway.

BECAUSE, it’s the reality:
I’m a mother, I cat-nap whenever it’s possible to charge my ‘batteries’ and seriously, no one poses for the camera if they truly are asleep, yes? 😊

And oh, I love the fact that Brie can still sit on my lap right now.

Just a little glimpse of a REAL motherhood moment that may not be portrayed often on Instagram, or Facebook.
