Checking Out : Millenia Walk and Marina Square’s New Food Court

16 June 20116 Comments

We hardly come to Millenia Walk.

To me, it’s more for those who work around the area.

We happened to drop by the area today though and their outdoor ‘wall fountain’ is one of those nice backgrounds you shouldn’t miss for photo opportunities! =)

See. I even nicely asked a passer-by to take a photo for all four of us! Hehe.

We walked around the Parco shopping centre there, and errr … it’s very quiet.

There were MORE people crowding around smoking behind the wall fountain compared to the number of people walking around inside the shopping centre! Really too bad actually, because the shops are offering quite a bit of sale right now!

We walked over to Marina Square soon after and checked out their newly renovated food court, called ‘The Gallerie‘ (which used to be called ‘The Food Loft’)

Some renovation works are still being completed, but I must say it’s such a nice place now.

Nice layout. Nice view. Nice and new tables and chairs.

I can’t say anything much about its food just yet though, as I only had a bowl of Ice Kachang there, which tasted quite okay =)

Anyway.

Here’re some shots taken by Vai while we’re there! =)

[Errr … a view of my Ice Kachang too, hehe]

    @Xin:

Hello, kalau aku sih tetep makan es yah …

    Hi Emily!

Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment.
(sorry it took me this long to reply though!)

Some people think that my kids are all always very ‘quiet and obedient’ when out and about with just me ..hehe … noooo, they’re still their usual self =) But I guess because we’re used to going out on our own (no daddy) on public transport since they’re very young, they kind of know what’s going on and what’s expected of them? (well, sort of =)

Anyway, thanks for voting for me … Do stay in touch yeah! =)

Congratulations!!! Good to hear you’re so mobile with three. I only learned to go out alone with 3 when my youngest was one. And I drive, which means my car is my super huge handbag in which I can put all and sundry to deal with almost any eventuality, except to help my middle child in the toilet with a baby strapped on (my kids are closer in age). How do you manage in that sort of situation?

  • Xuan says:

How do u do it.. bringing 2 kids and a 1mth old out alond! u are amazing..! i dont know how u manage that!

  • xin says:

Ci emang blm 40 hr udah boleh makan es ya? trus kalo kasih asi, nanti babynya pilek ga?

  • Emily says:

    Dear Leonny,
I really admire your courage to bring three children out on your own. You’re amazing, hehehe!

I only have a 3.5 year old son and I’ve difficulty going out with him alone because he is too active. I don’t dare to take public transport if I’m using a stroller. If I drive, I also scramble for directions. 🙁

I’ll cast my vote for your blog later today. Have a nice day! 🙂
