Rain and Snow in Singapore

19 December 20094 Comments

One of the things we wouldn’t miss each December holiday is Tanglin Mall’s snow sessions.

We’ve made plans, and looked forward to it.

But alas, it’s the MONSOON SEASON here in Singapore.

And it rained!

So we thought, neh … let’s grab our raincoats, kids!

The three of us went when it drizzled.

And what do you know.

There’s so little crowd (compared to when we went last year and the year before)

And there’s NO crowd at all at the shower area (we used to always need to hurry due to the long queue waiting to wash up after their snow play)

In the end, it worked out even better for us.

Thanks to the rain.

*And we plan to go there again next week!*

    Chitra:

It’s more like ‘suds’ and foams … not cold at all.

It starts at 7.30pm, and ends at 8.30pm (it’ll have ‘snow’ shot up high in the air, so you’ll get falling snow effect, and you’ll have this ‘avalanche’ where you’ll get a ‘surge’ of foams coming out of the ‘pipes’ from different corners of the area)

Don’t forget to bring along your towels and spare clothes ๐Ÿ™‚

    Have fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

hehe and the best thing about raincoats … the kids didn’t get totally drenched! ๐Ÿ™‚
(this especially helps a lot if the kid is not too fond of getting to soapy hehe)

    Thanks for dropping by! ๐Ÿ™‚
