Our Bali Trip : Likes and dislikes

23 November 20087 Comments

If I were to quickly name two things (what I like and don’t like) about our recent trip, they’d be:

LIKE the beautiful scenery (from its beaches to the mountains!) and DISLIKE the zillions of mosquitoes there (they gave me many many huge and super itchy bites!)

Been to Bali too? What do you like and don’t like about it?

A deserted beach at Nusa Dua and one of the many paddy fields we saw while we’re there.

Both photos were taken by Wilson.

Erm… If I really can produce body odour from certain foods, let’s say they are bees at that premise I think I will attract them come & sting me. Bees get aggravated when there’s a strong odour *oops*

We got mozzie bites is because our body temperature is higher. But how to keep cool while monitoring the little ones. Haha…

Yes, there’s SO much to explore there, and we can go back again and again and still feel refreshed!

    Samantha:

Hey they say, you can eat certain types of food (dunno what they are though) and your body odour (which results from eating it!) will naturally repel the mozzies!

Now my question is, will the body odour also repel EVERYONE ELSE who’re near me?? hehehe

  • Samantha says:

Oh dear! I think probably yours & the children blood are sweet & tasty for them. I scared on beach area because of sand flies. I knew if we are in Bali – Cayden & me will definately have bites like no business:p

been to bali a few times and we love the place. We love the beach, the makan, the shopping….can’t think of any dislikes. Will love to go there again!

Yes yes, that’s something I totally don’t understand. WHY do my kids and I get bitten, while our families (who live here in Indo) are fine. I thought that’s just weird.

(actually, wilson also didn’t get bitten, well.. at least no itchy or big red bites on him)

We put on mosquito repellent lar … ๐Ÿ™‚ but since we’re here 24/7, we cannot have it ‘fully applied’ ‘all the time’ leh … ๐Ÿ™‚

    Ch3ryl:

Wow cool, you’re going next Sept?? It’s going to be a fun trip I’m sure!!

  • ch3ryl says:

nope, havent been there… but going next Sept ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Lisna says:

Like: The beautiful beaches & lots of very nice 5 star hotels especially in Nusa Dua.

Dislike: The hot weather & very strong sunshine.

Btw, tuh nyamuk2 seneng hisapin darahnya foreigners krn masih bersih & blm terkontaminasi dng racun dari nyamuk2 yg lainnya, he..he.. Makanya kalau ke Indo hrs sll pake mosquito repellant dong ๐Ÿ™‚
