Vai’s chubby foot and toes.

Not too big. Not too small.
They’re just right.

Thanks for dropping a comment ya!

Re: getting the kids to ‘cooperate’, well they in actual fact don’t ‘always’ cooperate ๐Ÿ™‚ But I must say, both kids are very very used to us holding the camera in front of them, hehe, so I guess compared to other kids, may be they’re ‘more cooperative’ when I take photos of them?

(Anya smiles more easily in front of the camera, while Vai sort of grins and when asked to ‘smile’, and he’d usually end up looking like he’s in ‘pain’ haha ..)

Sometimes, capturing them while they’re naturally laughing away or giggling – eg, while they’re on the floor and I’m stooping / looking down with the camera – requires me doing super silly stuff though! ๐Ÿ˜€

    hi

enjoy reading your blog very much..

one thing i had always wanted to ask, how do you manage to get your kids to cooperate so well with you when taking photos?

  • Sandra says:

Oh such a lovely photo! Frame it!

Sorry Sis, maksudnya ‘ambilnya gimana’ itu gimana? ๐Ÿ™‚

But anyway, here’re some ideas to consider the next time you’d want to take a photo of your kids’ cute little feet and hands:

    – Choose a plain background to the photo, so the attention goes straight to the subject (here, Vai sat on my lap and I lifted his foot up with my left hand, while my right hand held the camera)

    – Have a comparison, eg. kid’s foot and daddy’s foot, etc. This way we can really tell how ‘tiny’ theirs are compared to another ‘object’.

    – Turn OFF the flash and be near a ‘source of light’ (here, we are next to our lamp). It’s really good if, you’re near a window or an opened door during the day, where you get natural lighting

For my case, this photo went through some enhancement works in photoshop too, so I could get the look and feel I wanted.

    Hope the tips help ๐Ÿ™‚

hehe .. I remember you mentioned how Cayden’s also the ‘bigger’ built type ya! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Alicia :

Thanks! I love it too! It lets me remember later how tiny and cute they once were (like, some 10 years later may be ? hehe)

  • Alicia says:

How cute! I love “feet” pictures!!

  • Samantha says:

Haha… His built and Cayden built is really very similar;)
