I would love to win this Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier for my wife. You see, she gave birth last May through a cesarean delivery due to her prolapsed disc. Her gynea and ortho also advised her that due to her spine problem, she has to limit herself from carrying our baby. This news saddened my wife since as a first time mom, she would want to carry our baby. Her ortho doctor advised us that she can try baby wearing, as long as she has good support on her back, and she can carry our baby once in a while.
Winning this baby carrier would really bring joy to my wife. Our baby would also be very happy since this will enable them to bond. As a husband and father, I enjoy carrying our son and I would want to share the same experience with my wife, the mother of my child.

I’m a stay-at-home mum with 2 lovely boys. I’ve always looked upon Baby Bjorn users with admiration for the good choice they have made. Our elder son is heading for nursery next year, so a Baby Bjorn will be such a life-saver. Ergonomically designed, the younger one wouldn’t make a fuss as we walk his brother to school. I’m currently still a student majoring in special need education. During my study, I have learned that one of the most healthy relationship between babies and parents are well developed when they’re in their parent’s bodies (which means less use of strollers). My sister is a baby bjorn freak. She has tried all types of baby bjorn and owned 4 diffrent kinds of baby bjorn. She always told me to buy one for myself but I am always not sure as to pay such so much for a carrier. My sister has told me all about the advantages of having a baby bjorn carrier compare to others (yes she has tried lots of diffrent kind of them).
I have problem with my hands. I have always feel pain quite often. I went to the chiropractor and doctors and they all told me not to carry my kids too often. My sister told me, baby bjorn will solve my problem as my hands will be free from carrying the baby as the back support and the waist support will “save” me.
I live in Jakarta and my sister live in Singapore. We meet so seldom that when we meet, we usually talk and just try to have fun and have such little time of me to try out her baby bjorn collections.

I’m a young father-to-be, excited at the idea of raising someone to be better than who I am in this world. In a fatherless generation (where dads were breadwinners during the day and vegetate at night in front of the television), I aim to buck the trend and become the father that my son can be proud of one day.
But first, I must lead by example: to proudly bear the physical weight of my son (by using the Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier, something I could not do for my wife during her pregnancy), the weight of bringing my child up responsibly together with my wife through values and principles my son will learn from, and to encourage others to do the same.
I will expose my son to the wonders of the natural world, to go where no stroller can go, and do what I wished my father had done: Wake up early on Saturday mornings, go to parks for hiking trips and spent more quality and quantity time with him.

My baby and I loved Baby Bjorn original, especially when she was facing forward, until she started to strain my neck and shoulder whenever I carried her for more than 10-15 minutes. I have a history of back/neck pain and mild scoliosis even before the pregnancy, so strains mean visits to a physiotherapist … a few visits to a physio cost me more than buying another carrier.
So I changed to a different brand that has hip support. It eliminates my shoulder/neck pain, but she wouldn’t stay in it when awake because she wants to face forward and look around. Most carriers with hip support don’t allow facing forward.
So she’s back to her stroller when awake. In Singapore, many shops and food centers don’t have the alley space for strollers so I often have to leave her in her stroller so I could run and bring the food tray or grab something from a shop. I’d feel a lot safer if I can just “wear” her with me whenever I need to run errands instead of leaving her without supervision. Not to mention I won’t have to keep taking the stroller in and out of the car in parking lots that don’t usually give moms like us sufficient space for strollers to get through.

Taking care of 3 kids take most of my time. I dont have much time to do my shopping and dressing up. Though some people might think it’s just an excuse, but seriously i would rather use the time to catch some rest. And if me and family going out, i got the duty to carry the youngest, as the sling look better on the wife instead of the husband, which make me lose the mood to go shopping and trying on the clothes as it is a hassle to put the sling on and off and it would wake the baby up too. During the big family gathering, i will be using my baby sling to carry my youngest, however with the way i dress up and the sling that i wear, my sibling and cousins are complaining that i look just like dosmetic helper in the family. So hopefuly if i got the carrier, my husband can help me to carry my youngest with the baby bjorn when we go out and i can do my shopping freely. I was very excited when i saw this post just now. I have been wanting to get a good baby carrier but due to money constraint, we have to put on hold and continue to take turn with my hubby to carry our baby around wherever we go.
We travel a lot especially during weekend with our baby around. Due to I have back and wrist pain (since after giving birth), it is quite hard for me to carry him in long hours. We did try out another brand of carrier once from a friend but it was not comfortable for both me and the baby, and does not fit to my husband ‘size’.
My baby is a very curious, happy and out going baby. He loooveess to go out and whenever we are out, he likes to be carried in our arms and curious to see everything and anything. With Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier, we could comfortably put him forward facing to fulfill his curiousness of seeing the world and facing on our chests when he wants to sleep or rest.
I really wish that i can win this carrier as this is the only brand my husband and i would like to have if we are going to own a carrier one day.

I had a opportunity to tried a Baby Bjorn classic carrier when my friend loaned me for a week.
It was a breeze, hands are free, backs are well supported, and baby felt so secured till fallen asleep….I guessed he felt comfortable been ‘bundled’ and yet been able to travel along with me. I can kiss his forehead and talked softly to him about the surrounding and everything.
Because it was quite expensive and we were budget conscious, it was put on hold.
Love to own one(my own) and we can travelled closely together.

We go out often and many places are my stroller friendly! A baby carrier really solves the problem – but not any baby carrier, because we know a bad one that’s not ergonomically well designed will not only bring discomfort the baby but also bring aches to the mummy!
On a not so important note (but pretty significant to me!), my baby is growing out of the old carrier! Baby Bjorn’s carrier is not only pretty but also manly enough for daddy to carry baby when we are out 🙂

I’m using other brand of carrier right now,. which I think is not so comfortable for my back,.. it’s not giving me enough support especially because I have backache problem. When I see this Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier, I think this one should be able to give me better support on my back while I’m carrying my baby, which is quite heavy right now.

I’m a big fan of Bjorn carriers and I use mine every day! I used Tollyjoy carrier (hand me down) before and didn’t like the feeling of carrier as the weight is all on my shoulders. I had the impression that all carriers would be like that. However, now that I read and heard the pros about Baby Bjorn, I would like to give it a try. My arms/back is always sore from carrying the kids and I think that this would definitely help me alot, esp since i will be travelling to Thailand in December, with my 2 kids. It can free up my hands and give the support needed to my back. In addition, it’s cool looking, completely safe and secure for me and the baby (I know for sure as she’ll be close to me). 🙂

I already have Ergo carrier and Baby Bjorn Active carrier which I have used for my elder daughter. Overall, I find Ergo provides a better back support than Baby Bjorn Active. However, my daughter prefers to be carried facing outward. So our Baby Bjorn Active carrier comes in handy for her.
For my younger son, initially I used a sling to carry him around. Then he got heavier, I cannot ‘tahan’ carrying him in the sling anymore. My shoulder and back were killing me. I tried using my Ergo aDnd Baby Bjorn Active on him. Again, like his sister, he prefers to be carried facing outward. Now that he weighs almost 8 kg, I also can’t carry him too long in our Baby Bjorn Active cos I get back pain. I really wish I could win the Baby Bjorn Comfort carrier as it is designed for bigger babies and the back support seems to be much better for mommy 🙂

I’ve been using Baby Bjorn Carrier Original since my boy is 2 months old. I have never regretted buying and I think that is the most useful baby stuff I have ever bought.
My house is a walk up apartment (4 storeys with no lift) so it’s a hassle to bring stroller out especially when I’m alone it’s just impossible.
With baby bjorn carrier I can wear it on my own without any help and I can carry my boy anywhere and I can still get things done (e.g. shopping, buy food, etc). He enjoy being in the carrier too especially when facing outward. Sometimes we carry him out facing inward just to make him sleep. Even when we did bring the stroller out we still need to bring the carrier as he prefers to be carried than sitting in stroller.
All is well until he gets bigger and heavier, it gets very strenuous to my shoulder if I carry him using the carrier for a few hours so I stop using it. Now he still likes to be carried and my hands are no longer free!
That’s why I wish to win the Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier.
I’m currently expecting second child and I hope I can carry him/her for longer period without stressing my shoulder. It would really helps when we want to go out with the baby and the toddler. Carrying stroller up and down the staircase is worse than the shoulder ache.

d) I’m a fulltime Mother of an adorable 16 months old son and another one coming soon in few weeks time (the scan said it’s a girl yeaay!). There are 2 reason why I want to win this badly:
1. I’ve always wanted to have Baby Bjorn. I always believe that it is very well designed not just for the comfort of both mother and baby, but I also confident that it will look great on me and of course everyone whoever wearing it.
At the same time baby can face forward. In the picture perfect, it won’t look bulky on women, look more stylish and the baby herself can sweetly smile facing the camera which is very important 🙂 (For a new mother it feels great to feel confident, I know Baby Bjorn can help with that).
2. Another thing is: I always travel back and forth between Jakarta and Singapore. It much more comfortable carrying the baby with me. And it’s the same whenever I’m out to meet friends and relatives whether it’s in Singapore or Jakarta, pushing stroller all around always so much of a hassle. My husband has bought other carrier because one of our friend recommended it, but not all babies are the same. My son would fuss after a short while and it’s very troublesome to take it off and tried to keep it because it’s so bulky. I think all babies would be happier if they could face forward and see the world which is new to them.
Everytime I travel, sometimes I would see parents carrying their babies in many kinds of baby carrier. But I know I always set my eyes on that carrier I’ve always wanted, Baby Bjorn.

I saw my friend is using this carrier whenever she goes out with her son.
I like its ergonomic support on shoulders and hip.
Besides keeping baby close to me, I’ll have free movement of my hands.
This will be hassle free too – carrying my baby in Baby Bjorn Carrier instead of stroller when travelling in bus.

d) WHY you’d like to win this Baby Bjorn baby Carrier: The Baby Bjorn that I use has no waist support and as Elin gets bigger, it is so hard on my back. Since then, I use an Ergo carrier because it has waist support. As much as it is comfortable for me, the carrier doesn’t have the sturdy back support for the baby as Baby Bjorn, people keep telling me it’s not good for the baby’s legs to be spread wide (it’s the way Ergo carriers are designed), and the baby cannot face outward. This Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier looks like the perfect carrier that solves all these problems! It will be wonderful to try one. 🙂

d) WHY you’d like to win this Baby Bjorn baby Carrier! : I saw my sister using this baby bjorn carrier when i was expecting, looks so comfortable. when my baby was born, i cannot use sling, so i look for comfort carrier, but nothing like baby bjorn. the one i look for is baby bjorn carrier miracle, but not available in indonesia. so i bought baby bjorn active (with a discount :)). I’m enjoying so much carrying my baby with it, love to hug him when he’s sleeping. But, in the mean time, while he’s growing bigger, walking with him in 2 hours already get me shoulder aching. that’s why i want the baby bjorn comfort carrier with the hip support. so i can walk with my baby for a long time without any ache or pain. just can’t wait! 🙂

Studies have shown that babywearing is good for both baby and parents. Baby cries less, develops better mentally & emotionally and parents are less stressed when baby is close by. I would love the chance to babywear my little girl when she arrives.

d) A good friend of mine lend me her original classic baby bjorn when I gave birth to my second daughter. It is a much better option to carry the baby in a carrier rather than bring along the bulky stroller when I need to take bus with the two kids. However, without the waist support, my shoulders start aching and screaming for help after using it for 1-2 hours. Wish I could have my own baby bjorn comfort carrier =) It’ll give me comfort, free hands while travelling with kids, and no worry for causing any minor wear and tear, since I need to return it to my friend.

I’ve been meaning to buy a Baby Bjorn carrier for my newborn but haven’t gotten around doing so because of the price. With so many other baby things to buy, baby expenses can go quite high, so I need to prioritize.
However, if we win this Baby Bjorn, that would save us some money, and I would love to babywear my baby, in hope to form a stronger bond between me and baby. We are faithful user of Baby Bjorn. We actually got it as a gift from uncle, but just lost it few weeks ago on a cab. As a fulltime mother of 20mos and 7.5mos boys without any helper, Baby Bjorn did a great job as mommy can go out anywhere by herself. It’s adding free hands to mommy to push the pram for eldest and do the groceries, while the youngest sticks with mommy in Baby Bjorn

I’m a big fan of Baby Bjorn! I have been using the Original Classic for Little Chuck and it doesn’t help that he is growing larger and mama doesn’t has any hip support from this carrier. I can see that the Comfort Carrier provides adequate support at the waist for larger babies and flexible carrying positions for their legs while carrying inwards vs outwards.

I have been carrying my first son since birth till now whenever he feels tired to walk. As a result, I have suffered from muscle ache for my arms and backache. I hope to win this so that I will not have to suffer from those aches. Another reason is sometimes I go out alone with my 2 kids and I need to carry the baby and hold my toddler’s hand at the same time. With this carrier, I can be hands free.
