Kite Festival Singapore 2010 & Light Trails

23 September 2010No Comment

This year’s kite-flying event was held over the weekend (18-19 September) at ‘The Promontory @ Marina Bay’ (near Raffles Place MRT).

We wanted to be there at 5pm last saturday, BUT in the end, we got there at around 7pm!

Oh well.

At least we all managed to see a few kites still flying up in the sky.

[Photos above : I wound down our friend’s car window and quickly took those shots, ie. while we were stuck in slow traffic!]

We tried to fly a kite too, but with not much wind at the time and crowds still walking about around us, it was difficult.

So in the end, after watching a few performances, both Anya and Vai, and their other friends, had a nice time running around the area.

Here are two of my favourite running shots.

Oh btw, if you’d like to experiment on getting shots like the above, I wrote about how to do it some 2.5 years ago.

Have fun experimenting!
