Checking Out : Wave House Sentosa!

13 November 20094 Comments

Just in case you are wondering about where to go this weekend, you may want to check out this place, Wave House Sentosa, the ONLY place in no-waves Singapore where you can watch people actually surfing away!

Though the place is more suitable for those in their twenties or thirties who like to chill out with friends, have fun and party, we think it’s still a nice place for our kids to see something different and new, ie. waves and people surfing (and falling!) away.

It was a whole new learning experience for both Anya and Vai!

They were like, ‘WHOA! LOOK! The man can stand on the board for a very long … OOPS!’

‘Mommy, Mommy, why does that man keep on falling down?’

‘Wow! How do they make waves like that?’

It’s right next to Siloso Beach, so families with kids sure can pop by this place before or after having a bit of fun at the beach together!

Well.

We did.

Oh btw.

We saw this super long flying fox ride ending at Siloso Beach, but we couldn’t spot where its ‘starting point’ was at the time!

After a quick check on the net, I found out that it was opened just a few months ago and is one of MegaZip Adventure Park‘s attractions!

Known as Asia’s steepest and longest, the whole ride will take riders 450m from a tower 72m up over Sentosa island’s jungle canopy and Siloso Beach!

[If you’ve tried this ride, please share with us your experience!]

Anyway.

It costs $29 per ride, and you have to be at least 1.2m tall to get on it.

Anya had her first ever flying fox experience when she was three years old (click HERE to watch the video), and when she saw the ride way above her at Siloso Beach the other day, she kept on asking if we could try it out.

Hmm.

You gotta wait till you’re 1.2m, little one.

And when you’re that tall, you might surprise us all once again with something that I myself perhaps wouldn’t even dare to try!
