We heart ‘UP’ the Movie!

2 September 20098 Comments

A couple of weeks ago the four of us went for our very first family movie outing.

We went to see ‘UP’, in 3D, the latest animation movie by Disney Pixar, at Vivo City’s Golden Village.

AND.

We all LOVED this movie!

(Even Vai sat up straight for at least the first half of the movie without saying a word!)

We love the story line. The jokes. The superb animation works. The characters. The pearls of wisdom shared throughout the movie. Everything.

Oh we’re so looking forward to getting the DVD when it’s released!

Definitely one highly recommended animation movie of the year.

Btw, have you seen the movie?

oh tell me about it … I haven’t been to the movies for AGES too ๐Ÿ™‚
(and have grown to love DVDs now … but I’d still love to catch cool movies with huge special effects on the big screen though …)

when kids are slightly older, I guess it’d be much easier to ask for help and babysit the kids while mom and dad catch the movies and enjoy some couple time ๐Ÿ™‚

    g.chan :

yup … LOVE the movie !
(i must say, pixar movies are sooo original )

bagussss … Gua rasa JL bakal betah duduk and nonton … Vai ajah ga bergeming tuh. oh btw towards the end, ada bagian yang ‘tegang’, and Vai bilang agak takut ๐Ÿ™‚ tp dia totally ok sama filmnya

recommendation: kasih JL nonton trailersnya dulu di youtube. so she’s familiar with the characters. Anya and Vai nontonin berkali2 tuh trailernya sblm beneran kita ajak nonton movie-nya. mereka suka bgt sama trailernya

    valentine:

aaawww Russell’s just adorable! Even Anya and Vai love the part ‘Good afternoon .. my name is Russell’ . hehe (and they jokingly said those lines again and again at home!)

when it comes to movies, I’m quite particular with storylines, and am not keen on letting the kids their age watch movies where there are ‘love stories’ between a girl and a boy. That’s why I just love Finding Nemo and Up! Love between mom and dad, grandpa and grandma, even between Carl and Russell is just beautiful!!

    Rafi:

squares and circles ? wow !!

anyways, the story line and messages throughout the movie is really good!!! Love it!!

    Emma:

makasih nih buat compliment on the pic ๐Ÿ™‚

dan bener bgt deh filmnya cocok buat tua n muda yah!!

  • g.chan says:

definitely one good animation movie..full of adventure, love and oh russell is so cute!!
    we heart the movie,too!! =D

Thanks for sharing! I’m looking forward to watching the show on DVD too! ^^

    I missed watching movies in theaters… ๐Ÿ™

  • Rafi says:

Yeah I watched Up few weeks back. Great movie and message. Do you know the concept behind this movie? It’s down to square and circle shape with its unique characteristic. Interesting hey? With this shape they developed very nice story.

  • valentine says:

we watched it a couple of weeks back for our movie date, and jokingly i told gab, heyyyy russell does look like you a lot yah.

Now a days gab is very proud of this character and we bought 2 tees of russell on it just cos of that.
    Funny husband i have.

But its really a touching movie, and if you love such movie, you can consider the movie by ghibli production, like ponyo, totoro and etc.

bagus yah, Le? disini hari ini baru keluar nih. pengen ajak JL nonton. ga tau dia bisa duduk diem gak yah?
