We went to this year’s Lantern Festival held at The Chinese Garden a few days ago.
The last time we went was last year, when Anya was only 8 months old. At the time she wasn’t too interested in the colourful lanterns. She fell asleep in her pram too!
This year’s visit was definitely different! With their safari-theme, she saw hundreds of lanterns in shapes of elephants, tigers, monkeys, etc. Animals that she’s familiar with. And THAT got her excited!
Anyway, if you ask me, this year’s festival is better than last year’s!
